Trailer, poster, release info for Darren Lynn Bousman’s “DEATH OF ME”

With his new SAW adventure SPIRAL delayed till 2021, the director will be represented this year by a horrific mystery.

Saban Films has announced that DEATH OF ME, directed by Darren Lynn Bousman from a script by Ari Margolis, James Morley III and David Tish, will arrive in theaters and on VOD and digital October 2. Maggie Q (FANTASY ISLAND), Luke Hemsworth and Alex Essoe (DOCTOR SLEEP) star; the synopsis: “Vacationing on an island off the coast of Thailand, Christine [Q] and Neil Oliver [Hemsworth] awake hungover and with no memory of the previous night. They find footage on Neil’s camera, and watch, horrified, as Neil appears to murder Christine. With 24 hours until the next ferry and a typhoon threatening the island, Christine and Neil attempt to reconstruct the night’s events—and are snared in a web of mystery, black magic, and murder.”
