After a wildly successful inaugural year, the Vancouver Horror Show Film Festival® (VHS) is back this Halloween season! Taking over Vancouver’s York Theatre October 25th-26th, the program will offer up 32 short films from 9 different countries, 50% of which will be Canadian content. Notably, the highly anticipated, British Columbia-produced feature, PUPPET KILLER will make its Great White Northern premiere at VHS 2019.

PUPPET KILLER was a dream project three years in the making for director Lisa Ovies, who says that the film “pays homage to all my favorite old school horror films and honors the art of practical effects. True horror fans will love the recalls from their favorite films and the actors performances are truly brilliant. I am ecstatic to bring this film to audiences after such a long journey.”
