It seems like only yesterday (but it was actually last week) that we were reporting on a microbudget shark flick from SOV stalwart Mark Polonia, and now another one is swimming in.

SRS Cinema is releasing VIRUS SHARK on limited-edition Blu-ray (only 200 copies) and VHS (only 25 copies); wider release will follow next April from MVD. No credits other than director Polonia have been released; the synopsis: “A shark bite spreads a virus across the globe, turning the world upside down. Deep below the ocean, a group of researchers race against time to find a cure. Something has infected the lab technicians and it’s a race against time to reach the surface with an antidote before they are all killed by themselves and the sharks lurking inside the test pool and outside in the ocean.” Pre-orders are underway at the SRS website, and will be accompanied by a limited-edition 11X17 mini-poster.
